MY ROAD TOWARDS TRANSLATION
I’m Biljana Stojanović, a seasoned scientific and technical translator specializing in English, French, and German to Serbian translations. With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I’ve developed a deep expertise in translating complex technical and scientific documents, including patents, clinical trial materials, and analytical instruments manuals. My journey began as a biochemical engineer, where I worked in Research and Development (R&D) and Quality Control (QC) at Galenika a.d., one of Serbia's leading pharmaceutical companies. In these roles, I was responsible for creating and translating extensive documentation, contributing to drug discovery projects, and co-authoring scientific papers.
In 2013, I transitioned to full-time freelance translation, driven by my passion for both language and science. My engineering background and analytical mindset enable me to deliver precise, accurate, and contextually relevant translations, making me a valuable partner to clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and mechanical engineering industries. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to co-translate the book "German All-In-One for Dummies," which allowed me to showcase my linguistic skills and attention to detail.
